Illiterate Rebel

I was looking for funny t-shirts, as I am sometimes apt to do, and I came upon this site. I looked at the “humor” shirts and wasn’t impressed. I figured they would have some Dubya propoganda in their stash but I settled on looking at the “Rebel / Redneck” section. It seemed similar to me somehow.

I found this shirt there. I’m not particularly offended by the content. I think the content is pointless and unneccessarily confrontational.

If you haven’t picked it up already, the funniest part is that the contraction of “it” and “has” is incorrect. This is what I think of when I think of a redneck. Illiteracy is hilarious when it isn’t being passed off as irony. Unfortunately this is far from irony. It’s just plain ignorance.

Matt mentioned that this shirt is also available in sizes up to XXXXXXL. So if you need a cover for your olympic size swimming pool, why not get one with a rebel flag on it and a symbol of illiteracy?

“I was looking for funny t-shirts” Yeah right; you were really looking for an “It’s all about Dave” shirt. 😉 More mockery at the expense of that site: In their Christian > Spanish category, it looks like two of the shirts are in Portuguese, not Spanish.

Oooh, here’s another: In their “Offensive > Hispanic” section, there’s a shirt that reads: Quien es tu papi? Of course, they probably wanted: ¿Quién es tu papi?

You are the 2nd person to point that out (All about DAVE) and I have to be honest, I saw that shirt and clicked on it since it was the first thing that popped up. I was thinking that I may have stumbled into some weird alternate dimension. Sadly, I don’t appear to be alone in the dimension that is all about me. Dimentia, on the other hand, I’ve got a handle on that.
