Jonathan Coulton is coming to Pittsburgh. I just bought four tickets to the show. I’m sad because I didn’t buy five. You see, I’ve been anticipating seeing JoCo in concert for awhile now and on the very night that Mr. Coulton will be performing, I will be somewhere between here and Lake Erie. His show falls on the same night as the Escape to the Lake bike ride for the MS Society. Isn’t karma supposed to make stuff like this not happen? Perhaps I’m paying for a previous misdeed. Boo. Hiss.

Bridget and I have been watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the spinoff Angel, for the past few months. Since the shows exist within the same universe, there ends up being small amounts of crossover in the stories. You could certainly watch the shows independently and be able to follow along just fine, but watching them as they originally aired was the route that Bridget and I decided to take.

If anyone else would like to do the same as us, I’ve compiled a BtVS / Angel viewing list for your consumption. Follow this link and you will find a complete list of all the episodes in Buffy and Angel. The sheet should be self explanatory.

I’m following djwudi’s lead on this and making my own band name. If you’d like to participate, here are the rules:

1. Band name: Use the name of the article from the first random wikipedia page you load when clicking here.
2. Album name: Use the last four words of the last quote on this random quote page.
3. Album cover: Search using the last word from your album name on this page. When the results appear, use the third image from the top of the list as your album cover.
4. Assemble the cover in Photoshop (or whatever) as you wish and post it on your blog. Please trackback to this post or djwudi’s post.
