Lance pointed me at this product that Google recently acquired. It does exactly what I want. I look forward to seeing their price structure.

I want to get rid of my telephone land line. There’s a catch: I want to keep the number.

I don’t want the phone line. I just want the number. I don’t want a cell phone that has that number. I just want to own the number and have any calls that are made to it be forwarded to either my cell phone or a voice mail box.

Does anyone know of any companies that offer such a service? I’m more than happy to pay a monthly fee to have this service. It makes no sense for me to be paying for a full featured land line when I never use it.

My mom and dad ordered Christmas presents from Amazon.com in November. Estimated arrival date was December 8. A package showed up at their house, but it contained items that they didn’t order. They had clearly been sent someone else’s Christmas order. Mom and Dad then sent an email to customer support. Clearly the person working for Amazon is only kind of paying attention. In my experience, late packages arrive [soon / within a few weeks] after

USPS Delivery Confirmation tells you when a package has been delivered, 
but doesn't provide detailed tracking, as packages aren't scanned at every 
stop along the way.

Library Gorilla reminded me of this video. There are about three of these types of commercial that play on WJAC out of Johnstown, PA after Thanksgiving every year. I used to look forward to these commercials quite a bit. I hope you enjoy it too.
