40 cents

Well, I bought my books at The Bookstore today. I forgot how much you get shafted when you buy books. It’s rather sad really. I have a hardback book for my database management class that is 620 pages or so with an Oracle SQL CD that cost me about 77 dollars. Now I bought a book for Interpersonal Communication that is a little over 400 pages and it’s softback (with no other reference material) and it cost me $50.40!!! My first thought was, “How in the world can it cost that much?!?!”, then I calmed down and started to wonder why there was 40 cents tacked onto the 50 dollars… Dunno… something to think about I guess. Very odd.
